Nanomi appoints Director of Business Development

Nanomi, a leading provider of microsphere-based drug delivery solutions to the pharmaceutical industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Miriam Gironès to its management team in the role of Director of Business Development as of May 1st 2012.

Miriam has been part of Nanomi’s team almost from the start in 2004 and has extensive knowledge in microsphere development for controlled release drug delivery. She holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Twente. During the past years at Nanomi she has contributed actively to Nanomi’s growth and the development of its Monosphere Technology in various roles at Nanomi, from R&D project management to marketing and sales. After one-year in academia, she returns to Nanomi to help expand the company’s customer portfolio and existing business.
