Job description

As part of expansion of our R&D team, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Formulation Development Engineer ! In this role, you will be fully integrated in our formulation technical team and will actively participate in the development of our complex injectable products in the very early phase.

Responsibilities

• Perform experiments in the laboratory to formulate and develop/optimize lab-scale manufacturing process.
• Conduct characterization testing on formulations.
• Ensure data integrity of experimental work and administer results into laboratory notebooks, batch records and templates following general company policies.
• Compile data generated during experimentation to support data interpretation and design subsequent experiments together with the technical project team.
• Write detailed experimental plans and study reports on work defined by the project team.
• Maintain multiple formulation development related equipment.
• Support implementation of EHS / QA corrective and preventive actions.

What do you bring?

• BSc (HLO) / MSc (Academic) in relevant field of Pharmaceutics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related scientific discipline.
• Typically less than 5 years of industrial experience.
• Good communication skills (written and spoken), fluent in English.
• Hands-on, flexible and able to work accurately and efficiently on multiple projects under aggressive timelines.
• Has a positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Creative out-of-the box thinking and problem solving.
