Job description

To strengthen our R&D team, we are looking for a Tech Transfer Specialist, who will be responsible for transferring our processes to our Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) sites and supervising commercial production campaigns. What do you bring?

• Comparable to MSc in a relevant field like Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines with at least 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical industry.
• Knowledge of technology transfer and GMP pharmaceutical processes is required, preferably with experience in aseptic processes.
• Fluent in English. French is a plus.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder skills.
• Quick learner and team player. Hands-on mentality.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the technology transfer of the processes from our R&D labs to a GMP plant, currently at Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs).
• Act as the primary contact for the CMO or external partners for the technology transfer activities.
• Structure the technology transfer by using appropriate tools such as gap analysis, risk assessment and/or technology transfer protocol.
• Manage and execute the operational project activities related to technology transfer.
• Lead technical meeting and coordinate execution of tech transfer deliverables (training, equipment, supplies, and process requirements).
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve operational processes and procedures to guarantee a consistent and successful tech transfer.
• Review key documents and coordinate input for relevant registration documents for accuracy and completeness (as appropriate).
• Actively report on the progress of technology transfer tasks evaluations and data analysis.
• Support project leaders in budget constructions and project timelines related to tech transfer activities.

The position may require travelling approximately 30% of the year.
